Guidelines
We want to make sure we’re able to effectively utilize all donations and avoid waste. Please read the below donation guidelines. If you have any questions about an item, please email us at southbkmutualaid@gmail.com before donating.
Our Guidelines
Priority Items and
Current Needs
If an item is not included on the list, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing it to our donation sites. We may not have the means to distribute it efficiently and have limited warehouse space available.
Quality and
Labeling Items
We meticulously sort through every item we receive. To help us save time, please ensure that items are freshly laundered and neatly folded before bringing them in!
Rule of Thumb
Our guiding principle is simple: if you wouldn't pass it along to your loved ones, please refrain from bringing it to us.

New and gently used suitcases w/wheels
Cold medicine & OTC medicine
Diapers (size 4 & up)
Baby Wipes
Current Needs:
Blankets
Warm Coats (new/gently used)
Gloves
Socks & Underwear (new only)
Sanitary Pads (no tampons)
